Health Claims: Health-related Claims | MINIMEALS
In the European Union, there are strict regulations regarding the permitted description of food products. This applies in particular to claims related to health.
For these so-called health claims, a general prohibition principle applies. It is not sufficient that these claims are scientifically proven. They must also be separately authorised in each individual case by the European Food Safety Authority in accordance with EU Regulation 1924/2006.
