With their product, the Vorarlberg company ensured the world's highest investment in this TV format
Bregenz, Vienna In July 2024, there was great excitement in the German sports press: A Vorarlberg entrepreneur, whose company is based high above Lake Constance in Wolfhalden (CH), became the main sponsor of one of the world's largest football clubs, FC Schalke 04, which boasts 190,400 members. Critics doubted the company's credibility and also its product, Sun Minimeals. "That has calmed down now," says Wolfgang Grabher about the backlash triggered by a bonus program for buyers of its product. The company also collaborates with other partners. Sun AG is also a sponsor in Formula E, and the company collaborates with former Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg on various other projects. "We are also the lead partner of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Climate Initiative at the Austrian World Summit," reports Grabher.
Maike and Wolfgang Grabher's company is once again causing a stir. The couple will present their smart snack, Sun minimeal, to investors in episode 2 of the business show "2 Minutes - 2 Million" this Thursday. The so-called minimeals are ready-to-eat, nutrient-complete meals that fit in any pocket. "They offer a healthy alternative to sugary snacks, fruit, or high-calorie meals and are intended to guarantee a safe and transparent supply of nutrients from a purely plant-based source," reports Puls 4. The anticipated investment is impressive: €4 million for 6.5 percent of the company's shares. Will the investors dig that deep?
Biggest deal ever
This much can be revealed upfront: They're doing it – the final investment amount can only be revealed during the broadcast on Thursday, Grabher told VN. Several investors have pooled their resources to invest. "We generated €80 million in revenue with our startup last year," Grabher explained, adding that participating wasn't essential for further development. "But increasing awareness was a good argument for us," he explains. This much can be revealed: This is the largest deal ever offered in the history of all startup shows worldwide. These include Dragons Den, Shark Tank, The Lions' Den, The Acrecentice, 2 Minutes 2 Million, and others.
But what kind of product is this that's already sold millions of times? Grabher examined over 15,000 foods to determine how they complement each other and their nutrient density. "The hardest part was filtering out the harmful ingredients," he says, emphasizing sustainable cultivation of the ingredients. The result is a bombshell of concentrated nutrients.

Whether this is actually the case was examined by the renowned ETH in Zurich on behalf of Migros. Switzerland's largest retail group was a partner for five years. The Minimeals - which look like small cakes and are now also available with a chocolate coating - were sold at the time through around 600 distribution partners, mainly fitness studios, in Germany alone. The Bregenz native did not renew his contract with Migros: "We didn't want to only offer our product in the muscle mass industry," he explains. Incidentally, the "superfood" was not only tested by ETH; Grabher himself climbed the 4,892 meter high Mount Vision as a member of a 19-person expedition in Antarctica, fed exclusively on Minimeals. Nowadays, it is not just the investors of "2 Minutes - 2 Million" who are interested in the food. Corporations like Porsche are also testing the power snack.
